‘Amazing’ Grace Widdicombe just loves classical instruments and the sounds they make – she’s particularly fond of cellos and trombones.
So a treat was in store when her family brought the 14-year-old in her wheelchair to the GSO Big Bad Wolf rehearsal for their free children’s concert on Sunday May 13 at 3pm in Stroud Subscription Rooms.
She tried out the orchestra leader Marie Roberts-Watkins’ violin, while her little brother Corey, age 7, played Will Webster’s cello and then she listened to Tom Thistleton’s trombone before playing the hosepipe with Corey!
Come and join us on Sunday – conduct the orchestra and try a tune on a hosepipe. Contact the box office on 01453 760900 http://www.subscriptionrooms.org.uk.
